Knowledge
KNOWLEDGE
KNOWLEDGE IS THE KEY.
Every problem in this world has a solution if you have the knowledge
to solve it. Every question in this world has an answer if you have the knowledge
to answer it.
A knowledgeable person is richer than the mere rich and the
rich without knowledge is poorer than the knowledgeable poor. An ignorant’s
life is a pathetically limited experience. A knowledgeable person lives a
fuller and an all rounded life- a life of an evolved individual. He is almost a
super human being. He contributes to the society by enlightening the minds of those,
who come in his contact. He makes their lives amazingly worthwhile. He helps
spread progress and drives evolution and ultimately helps the humanity ‘grow’.
So, it is very simple, we need knowledge. But, how do we get
that? We all get some sort of formal education in life. Formal education is
great but may not always translate into knowledge. Gaining knowledge is unique
education. This book helps you understand your own need to gain knowledge. Our quest
for knowledge starts from our birth. Our first lesson is ‘to get milk-cry’. As
we grow up our need for knowledge grows too. Knowledge can turn the lives
around, bring happiness, bring purpose, and set you free. And How do we aply
that knowledge in our lives? This book’s path is as simple as it is
demonstrated below.
You need knowledge to
make your life richer> to gain knowledge you need a smart brain> to
understand your brain you need to analyze how your brain works > the
analysis shows that Human Nature and Animal Instincts are the two most influencing
factors on your brain.
So to gain KNOWLEDGE
you should ANALISE each and every situation and experience in LIFE, use your
BRAIN and always keep in mind, how HUMAN NATURE and ANIMAL INSTINCTS control the
functioning of you brain.
We are going to see the ‘Whys’ and ‘Hows’ later in this
book. There are some other factors that influence our brains too but we are
going to see how ‘Human nature and Animal instincts’ are the most influencing
of them all. We shall try to define Human Nature and Animal Instincts further
ahead.
This means, we need to make a list of areas of our interest
and focus on them.
Our key words are KNOWLEDGE, BRAIN, ANALYSIS, ANIMAL
INSTINCTS AND HUMAN NATURE.
As you read ahead, you will find candid, in-your-face kind
of criticism, embarrassing references, painful facts but you will not see below
the belt attacks, vilification of weaker sections, hate preaching, undignified
personal references, discrimination of any kind, and disrespect. I am grappling to put
together the definition of Human Grace, I reckon not doing the things mentioned
and underlined above is probably being “Humanly Graceful”. It is the list of ‘Don’ts’
that says it all. A quote that comes quite close to describing Human Grace is
‘Live and let live’. It is a small quote but it embodies the teachings of
humanity and religions, in those power packed four words.
One more thing about the Human Grace is that it is more of
an internal thing than external. It comes from within and shows in actions and
expressions, which ofcourse is the external part of it. I have noticed that the
Human Grace is present in many human beings in various degrees or levels. Upping
your Human Grace quotient is vital. You should strive hard to up that level all
the time. The more you raise the bar for yourself the better human being you
become. Human Grace is extremely difficult to fake. Big actors fail faking it,
leave alone the bad actors and other mortals. The superficial version does not
last long and soon people start seeing the imposter in his original form.
Here is the good news. It is not the case of ‘Either you
have it or you don’t.’ You could “up” the level of Human grace which is dormant
in you. One could do that with knowledge, knowledge and more knowledge. You
could do it at any age.
‘Having grace’ I believe is the first step towards knowing
yourself. It is like warming up before, start of a sport match. The warmed up
muscles perform better, they don’t give you cramps, the efficiency is better.
If you have a higher level of Human grace then you have a better and quicker
chance of knowing your own self, humanity, nature, this world.
If you have higher goals then, knowing your Religion, God,
Universe, and Aliens and the list goes on……a small, angry, jealous and narrow mind
can not even think of going on that quest. An open and graceful mind is a basic
requirement for that journey.
Moving on, on the structure of the book, we are going to
study all our keywords from real life. We shall study and analyze life- the
human life and the animal life.
I prefer the salt and pepper, rain and sunshine kind of
effect. You are estranged for a while then there is reconciliation in sight [
Does that sound very familiar?]. There is burst of gun fire and then there is
cease fire soon. You see things in black and white and then you discover the
gray shades. The written words seem to say something and then you read between
the lines. It is like you hate something for a moment and you love the same
thing the second moment. And love wins most of the times. So basically we will
see the situations from both the angles, as every coin has two sides.
I have been fortunate in my life that I have met, worked,
observed from close quarters, some public figures of iconic status –
Politicians, Sports Stars and Films Stars. They are Wonderful, hardworking,
intelligent people - sometimes very simple. I have worked with some very
unassuming, humble people too. I have read works of some great writers. I have
used my observations of those people to analyze their acts. It works
wonderfully.
My contact with the International community was through my
profession- The Film Industry. I have worked with the Americans, the British,
the Canadians, the Thais and the Israelis. Media’s influence is tremendous
through newspapers, non-fiction TV, and International films. Believe me seeing
and meeting people from other cultures is as important as respecting and living
proudly in your own culture. It offers a whole new perspective towards life. It
tells you that humanity is bigger and larger than your world. Well, all these
influences are pretty much evident in my writing.
And to top it all, I have watched a lot of wild animals.
There is nothing more fascinating and educating than watching a wild animal
SURVIVE. In animal kingdom surviving is the best thing that can happen to you.
Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains
un-awakened.
