Discrimination and Animal Instincts. Discrimination starts with domination. ‘To Dominate’ is a part of our many Animal instincts, like ‘Fight to posses’, ‘Reproduce’, ‘Hunt’, ‘Territorial’ etc. Animals discriminate naturally and so do men………but there is a difference. The Man hurts. Read on. Animals naturally try to dominate - their own kind or other species. Hierarchy is one of the strongest pillars of the social structure in Animals. Alfa males in Lions, Chimps, Crocs, Hippos, Buffalos, Wildebeest, the list is endless, they all dominate. Also, dominant females in Hyenas and Elephants, they all dominate others in their groups. At every given opportunity they would show others, who is the boss? All these herds have their own internal hierarchy and it is understood by all the members clearly.
